PRIVACY POLICY

Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 2026

This is the official Shadowrocket website and manual. This policy explains how information is handled when you visit the site, including its manual pages, navigation, and analytics features. Data handling within the Shadowrocket app and Apple’s App Store services is covered by their own applicable policies and is not replaced by this policy.

1. Information collected

This site uses static pages to provide reading material. It has no user registration, sign-in, email subscription, or file upload, and does not ask for your name, phone number, or email address. You do not need to submit an Apple Account, payment details, an existing subscription URL, or server credentials to read the guides.

When your browser requests a page, the hosting infrastructure may generate necessary access logs. These may include the request time, page path, response status, IP address, and device information sent by your browser. The logs support page delivery, troubleshooting, and site security; they do not mean that files or app settings on your device are being accessed.

This site does not provide node services or provide, sell, or recommend nodes or subscriptions. The guides assume that you already have your own subscription or server details. Do not put connection credentials in page URLs or content intended for public sharing.

2. Site analytics and how data is used

This site uses analytics to understand how pages are read, how well on-site navigation works, and how often visitors click the App Store link. Analytics may include the page visited, referring page, visit time, browser type, screen size, and interaction events. This information helps improve content structure, identify broken links, and make pages easier to read on smaller screens.

A click on an App Store button only indicates that a visitor chose to open the product page; it does not indicate that a purchase was completed. This site does not use click data to access Apple order details, payment methods, or purchase history, or to infer that a purchase was made.

Analytics data should be limited to the purposes described above and used in aggregate to maintain the content. How long logs and analytics records are retained depends on the deployment configuration; this policy does not promise a specific retention period that has not been verified. Data handling should be limited to what is necessary and comply with applicable data protection requirements.

3. Cookies and local storage

Cookies are small pieces of data stored by your browser that may be sent with requests. Local storage stays in your current browser. This site does not rely on cookies for account sessions, and you do not need to be signed in to read the content or use the page navigation.

Whether analytics writes cookies, which identifiers it uses, and how long they last depends on the actual deployment configuration. Page interactions may also be stored only in the current page’s memory or in the URL fragment; not every interface state is persistent storage. This site does not ask you to enter subscription URLs, passwords, or payment details into browser storage.

You can review, restrict, or clear this site’s cookies and local storage in your browser’s site data settings. If you restrict analytics or storage, the main content will remain available, but some state may not be retained. Your browser manages its cache and browsing history separately.

4. App Store links

Shadowrocket is available only on Apple platforms, and the App Store is the only place to get it: Shadowrocket on the App Store. Apple operates that page and the purchase process. Visits, payments, purchase records, refunds, and related activity are subject to Apple’s terms and privacy policies.

After you leave this site, the destination service may receive network request information directly from your browser. This site’s analytics settings do not replace Apple’s settings. A one-time purchase of the app is not a subscription to a network service; buying the app does not provide access to a server. For information on verifying your purchase and restoring it, see the download guide.

5. Your choices and policy updates

To protect your personal information, review your browser permissions and site data, and avoid sharing complete links or configurations that contain credentials. For instructions on where to find settings, see the FAQ or setup guide. These pages provide guidance; they are not a way to submit sensitive information.

This policy may be revised when the scope of information handling, analytics purposes, or site features change. Updates will appear in the policy text and the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If new purposes are introduced or applicable law requires notice or consent, the appropriate information and choices will be provided; revising this policy does not replace those required steps.
