TERMS OF USE

Terms of Use

This is the official Shadowrocket website and manual. These terms apply when you visit this site, read its documentation, or follow its instructions. App purchases and use are also subject to applicable App Store and in-app terms.

1. Scope and purchases

This site provides guidance on verifying the app, purchasing it, configuring it, and troubleshooting. Shadowrocket is a closed-source commercial app developed by Shadow Launch Technology Limited and is available only on Apple platforms, primarily for iPhone and iPad. The App Store is the only place to get it. Check the App Store listing for pricing, system requirements, compatibility, and Universal Purchase availability.

The app is a one-time purchase; it does not include a service plan. This site does not provide, sell, or recommend servers or subscription services. Instructions assume that you already have your own subscription or server details. Handle app payments, purchase history, refunds, and redownloads through the relevant App Store processes. Reading this site does not create any additional service purchase.

2. Lawful use and user responsibilities

When visiting this site or using Shadowrocket, you must comply with the laws, regulations governing network use, and service terms that apply where you are and to your activities. Do not use the app or this documentation for unlawful purposes, including accessing others' systems without permission, stealing data, violating privacy or intellectual property rights, or disrupting normal network operations.

Make sure you are authorized to use any servers, subscriptions, or configurations you import, and verify their source and permitted scope. Keep subscription URLs, access credentials, and logs containing personal information secure; do not share them publicly. Save any necessary configuration copies before changing rules, DNS, or connection settings. When using a device or network managed by an organization, follow its applicable policies.

3. Documentation and limitations of liability

This manual is based on the app interface and App Store information, which may change, including interface locations, system prompts, and store content. Follow what is currently shown on your device when performing the steps. Examples explain formats or procedures only; they are not ready-to-use connection resources and do not guarantee suitability for any particular network environment.

The app is sold on the App Store. Connection results depend on factors such as device settings, network conditions, services you already use, and your configuration. This site does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the app or network services. To the extent permitted by applicable law, this site is not liable for availability issues, data loss, or indirect losses resulting from following instructions, changing settings, or interrupted connections. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be limited by law or affects your statutory consumer rights.

4. Intellectual property and use of materials

The Shadowrocket trademark, app, official icon, and related app materials belong to their developer or respective rights holders. This site uses these names and materials to identify the product and provide official instructions. No additional license to use the trademark, app, or other protected materials is granted to visitors.

Original text and page code on this site are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Individuals may read and save necessary materials for learning and practical use. When quoting them, credit the source and preserve their meaning. Without permission from the rights holder, do not commercially reproduce protected content, misrepresent a brand identity, or create pages likely to confuse users. This section does not restrict fair use permitted by law.

5. Changes to these terms and handling questions

We may revise these terms to meet legal requirements or reflect changes to the services or documentation. Updates will be posted on this page, and the month shown at the top will be updated. Important changes affecting usage rights will be explained in a visible notice on the site. Where the law requires separate notice or consent, we will follow those requirements.

For purchase and setup questions, see Frequently Asked Questions. For specific setup steps, refer to the setup guide. When describing an issue, remove subscription URLs, access credentials, and personal information. If any part of these terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
